1. The “Gladiator” diving helmet is a cast from mold bronze shell helmet approximately 3/16” thick. This gives you excellent head protection, reduces electrical shock to facial area while burning and welding. It also gives better protection in case of O2 pops. It provides improved acoustics for communications in the helmet.
2. The “Gladiator” diving helmet utilizes the “Poseidon” Jet Stream demand regulator made of stainless steel which is the easiest breathing regulator on the market. The “Poseidon” Jet Stream needs no dial-in adjustment, is quick and easy to change-out, and has been tested by the U.S.Navy past 1000 fsw.
3. No exhaust gasses pass thru the intake demand regulator which reduces CO2 gas build-up in the helmet. The oral nasal has a separate port below the intake port for the regulator which helps prevent debris and water from entering the regulator casing thus reducing corrosion and maintenance / repairs.
4. The exhaust system is a 2 into 1 flapper valve set-up. All three flapper valves are quick and easy to access and replace in case of needed maintenance. This provides for a dry oral nasal.
5. Comms set up is standard 8-ohms 1-microphone and 2-speakers. Comms connections can be 2-posts or marsh marine.
6. Faceplate is ¼” Lexan mounted with retainer flange screwed to bronze shell.
7. Easy to cam neckdam is sealed by neopreme gasked and secured by 2 strong swing latches.
8. Freeflow and check valve attached to side block manifold are stainless steel and rated to 3000psi wp.
